Ambulance - Wolcott Ambulance History

Wolcott Volunteer Ambulance Association (WVAA), Inc was formed in 1973 and serves a population of 16,228 covering 20.6 square miles.  IN 2010, WVAA responded to 1,274 calls for emergency medical care, fire department support and event standbys. 

Our service operates 24-7 and 365 day a year.  We are staffed full-time by EMTs, EMT-Intermediates and  EMT-Paramedics .  Our personnel are made up of combined paid and volunteer staff. 

Our headquarters is located at 48 Todd Rd, near the public works facility.  It features a four bay garage, two kitchens, and living space including two bedrooms, six offices, a boardroom  and a classroom.
