Mission
The Commission oversees the following areas within the Town of Wolcott:
- Peterson Park
- Sunrise Park
- Town Green
- Mattatuck Beach
- Woodtick Recreation Area
- Woodtick Reservoir (dam maintenance)
- Chestnut Hill Reservoir (dam maintenance)
The Commission is also responsible for:
- Peterson Park Summer Program
- After School Programs (Fall/Winter and Spring/Summer)
- Annual Easter Egg Hunt
- Summer Concerts
- Program support for various town programs and sports organizations
- Allocating Wakelee & Frisbie school fields to sports organizations
